Museum opening hours 10:00 am-5:00 pm (Last entry at 4:00 pm) The USS Midway was the oldest aircraft carrier in the 20th century US Navy (1945-1992) and the largest Decade, housing 4,500 crew! You can now walk in the footsteps of 225,000 sailors during a self -guided audio visit told by former sailors and Midway officers.

the USS Midway also contains interactive exhibitions and planes on board for all ages. Do not miss the flight simulators, the gift shop and the coffee.

Discover what it was to be part of a "city at sea", explore the galleys, the country of the officers, the dormitories and the machine room of the first ship of the navy too large for the Panama canal! You will be amazed by the 4-acres flight bridge and the 360-degree panoramic view of the city center of San Diego.
