The desert watchtower has a panoramic terrace from which visitors to the National Park can observe the eastern part of the Grand Canyon.

you will then see the Canyon Marble, the section of the Colorado river which marks the beginning of the Grand Canyon, and Point Imperial, the highlight of the North Plateau (2,683 m). Point Imperial overlooks the painted desert and the east end of the Grand Canyon. You will cross the canyon by flying over the northern plateau to the dragon corridor in the south, the widest and deepest part of the canyon.
