Venice: gondola tour (Ref. 51951)

Discover Venice in gondola. Leave the local gondolier, dressed in its blue and white striped shirt, transport you along Venice hidden channels for an excursion of 25 to 30 minutes. It is a slow journey, ranging from boarding on arrival, taking about 20 to 30 minutes. The Venetian gondola is considered to be one of the most beautiful and elegant boats in the world, built according to unique techniques that include symbolic meanings.  For example, the prow of the gondola, the ferro, has an S form which represents the waters of the large canal and balances the weight of the gondolier.

- Place of meeting: Calle Larga Dell'Ascensione, in front of the post of Saint Marc near Museum of Correr. 

Head to the wooden stand identified by the yellow "Dating point" panel.

- Dating time: 15 minutes before departure time

- Please note that this is a shared gondola (up to 5 people for each) so it can be shared with other people

- For departure at 6.45 p.m., the capacity of the gondola is 4 people max

- It may happen that someone is not seated in the desired place next to the partner, due to organization and weight

- Comfortable shoes and clothes are recommended

- Babies up to 2 years can participate for free if they are sitting on the lap of their parents

- Please take water with you, especially during hot days

- No refund will be accepted for non-presentations or latecomers

- The gondola ride will be provided rain or good weather, only in case of very high rain, it can be canceled and the visit will be reimbursed (if it is not taken another day/hour)

- Masks are compulsory, please bring yours

- Please provide or show a copy of your good to our staff (holding a towers sign)
