With this entry ticket to the National Museum of Ancient Art (MNAA), discover the largest Portuguese public collection of art, covering paintings, sculptures, goldsmithery and decorative arts from Europe, Africa and Asia.

Rich in more than 40,000 works, the museum houses the greatest number of pieces classified "national treasures" in Portugal, as well as essential masterpieces of the world artistic heritage.

Among the major parts not to be missed are the 15th century Saint-Vincent panels and the prestigious solid gold cross of Dom Sancho I, a unique jewel dating from the 13th century.

Installed for almost 130 years in the sumptuous Palácio Alvor, the MNAA, founded in 1884, is an emblematic place of the conservation and valuation of the Portuguese artistic heritage.
